We experienced the afternoon cruise on Demetris-Chara BBQ Boat from Latchi Harbour to the Blue Lagoon as a family reunion.
We finally went with a group of 30, including small children from under 1 until 5 years!
Luckily it was easy to get the pushchair up on the boat and keep it near our tables and benches in the sun-shaded area near the bar.
The cruise started at 3.30 and we were back in the harbour at around 7.30 which means the cruise lasted a bit longer than on other boats.
This is due to the longer stop for swimming in the wonderful clear aqua coloured sea at the Blue Lagoon and where a delicious Souvla (grilled pork and chicken on skewers) was served accompanied by side dishes. It is all grilled and prepared freshly in the front of the boat.
Being a Cypriot family we are big fans of souvla and we were impressed!
The bar on board offered all kinds of nicely chilled drinks and ice cream at reasonable cost.
The boat was spotless and the staff helpful and friendly. It was a beautiful day out to one of the most amazing bays in Cyprus.
