Just to let you know that Angela and I had the most magnificent holiday in Villa Kingfisher. We really loved the villa and it ticked every box for us. Andreas has a superbly equipped and fitted out villa and it is one we will certainly return to, possibly for a long winter after I have retired in April 2019. There was the usual lack of a small sharp knife but we bought one from Phillipos and donated it to the villa. The cold Keo beers were much appreciated; thank you. With all best wishes Peter M
Villa Kingfisher
My wife and I have just enjoyed a fabulous two weeks in Villa Kingfisher. Andreas, the owner, has built a villa finished to the highest standards including marble flooring throughout complete with underfloor heating and equipped with top of the range Neff appliances in the kitchen. The attention to detail is impressive: enough plugs in the right places, a well-equipped BBQ with sink and running water, excellent range of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, etc. This villa also has good fast broadband for internet access and Wi-Fi available throughout the villa and poolside. The villa is just simply very well-designed and equipped. We appreciated the poolside privacy; we were able to swim even though it was late February/early March and spent a lot of time sitting either in the sun on the loungers or around the table outside by the pool. We have been using Irene for villa holidays in Cyprus for the last 7 years and this villa is one of the best we have ever had … 5-star luxury and in a great quiet, private position. We will certainly be booking a return visit to the villa! Apart from the restaurants mentioned in the Sundance guide, we can thoroughly recommend the lamb souvlaki or sheftalia you can buy to take away (or eat in) at the Astrofegia Tavern just up from the Phillipos supermarket in Coral Bay; seriously good value at €4.50 each! Further afield our favourite places for fish are the Kanali Fish Restaurant at Pomos and the restaurant at the Baths of Aphrodite. Other favourite places for good Cypriot food are Moustakallis in Polis Chrysochous, To Stekki Tou Panai or Imogen’s Tavern both in Kathikas and finally Pangratios in Miliou. You won’t go wrong visiting any of them!
Excellent villa for a family holiday in the sun.
We stayed in the Villa Kingfisher last week and found it to be ideally suited for our multi generational family of 7. It was beautifully clean both inside and out. As the weather was so hot we spent most of out time outside and in the pool . The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances We're easy to use. We made good use of the BBQ area . We had a hired car for longer trips and found it did not take long to walk to Coral Bay centre on foot and to the supermarket Phillipo's which had a excellent selection of food for all our needs. The pool and grounds were regularly maintained. The owner , Andreas , brought us a lovely cake as well as having provided a useful welcome pack.
Birthday celebration villa close to Coral Bay Strip in Paphos was as good as last time
Just a line to say that we had a very enjoyable holiday at Villa Kingfisher (Alkioni) with our immediate family, relaxing it wasn't but we had a great time to celebrate my LXX birthday. Other family and friends stayed at a nearby hotel, and we all got together on my birthday and beyond. Villa Kingfisher (Alkioni) was as good as the last time we rented it with you, we even met the owner who very kindly provided a birthday cake, a lovely gesture. For anyone contemplating this villa, it is spacious and fulfilled our requirements completely, the pool area is great, all nine of us spending a lot of time there. The villa location is ideal, being a short walk to the beach and the Coral Bay strip where the bars and restaurants are. All in all, we had a great holiday in villa Kingfisher and would certainly recommend it! Relaxing in our apartment in Paphos now for a few days. Thanks again, Regards, Brenda & Richard F
Wonderful time at Villa Kingfisher, loved the huge pool
Hello Irene, would just like to say what a lovely villa Kingfisher was,we all had a wonderful time especially the huge pool. We had a visit from Nicole on sunday as we wanted to book the wave dancer on our last week,nothing was any trouble for her even though it was her day off,she was so lovely and gave us so much information regarding coral bay and paphos,further more as we had a late flight on saturday,Nicole checked to see when the villa was next occupied and phoned Andreas to see if we can stay till 5.00pm' which was a big relief when he said it was fine (due to no arrival) and saved us hanging around for 6 hours. Opening the door to Kingfisher Villa we were met by excellence and perfection
Hi Irene, on arriving at Paphos airport and collecting our hire cars from Nick from Cybreeze, we followed the directions to the villa and found it without any problems. Situated in an excellent location between Coral Bay strip and the beach, we were stunned by the facade and gardens to the front of the villa. On entering the villa, it was nice and cool inside against the heat of the afternoon and our 3 grandchildren aged 6, 4 and 2 ran into the lounge and opened the curtains to see the pool in the gardens at the rear before exploring the rest of the villa. It was excellent in its layout, furniture and appliances and everyone was spoilt for choice which bedroom to have. We spent most of our time there throughout the day as we could not get the children out of the pool from 8 in the morning until 6 at night. The pool area and gardens are perfect for young and old with the ease of access to the pool for the children. But all too often time catches up and we had to leave to return home and we miss the villa already and will be definitely rebooking a return visit. Our many thanks to Nick from Cybreeze and his team, we were met at the airport and led quickly to our 2 new cars which he had just added to his fleet. All in all, if anyone is attracted to the photographs of this villa, then you have to book it as it was brilliant and it met all our expectations for our family stay of 5 adults and 3 children
The villa was perfect in every way - spacious and everything we needed and more
Dear Irene Just to let you know that we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cyprus at Villa Kingfisher, Coral Bay for the first week of September. The villa was perfect in every way - we were all amazed at how spacious it is and everything we needed and more had been thought of. We enjoyed the lilos and inflatables in the pool, which were an unexpected extra, the smoothie maker (which was handy in using up our fresh fruit at the end of the week) and needless to say the air-con which worked perfectly. It was so lovely to have a pool which was so lovely and warm to swim in either at 7.15am (just on our last morning!) and after dark and kept so lovely and clean too. The villa is a beautiful design in every way - the garden even having two shaded areas designed just perfectly so that when the sun moved into one the other then became shaded, which was useful as it was so warm. And finally, the barbecue area was as big as some kitchens, which we enjoyed too on one evening. Thank you also for the directions being so easy to follow and spot on, so that even in the dark we managed to find our way easily. Please could you pass on my thanks to Nicole for her help through the week - I did mean to text her before leaving, but didn't manage to within her working hours. Also Cy-Breeze were great for car rental - extremely helpful and all ran very smoothly thanks - lovely people. We found Peyia good for shopping when we wanted something other than Philipos supermarket in Coral Bay (which was really good anyway), but in Peyia centre we found an excellent bakers, butchers, and fruit/veg shop all very close to each other. We went to Kolios Winery on our last day and that was well worth the lovely drive - the views are stunning from the restaurant and the food was delicious - as for the wine it was very much enjoyed by all (except me as the driver, of course). We also loved the views from the Baths of Aphrodite Taverna where we went for Jonathan's birthday and the fish meze was absolutely delicious. And finally, we had a superb day on the Wave Dancer boat - the lady we booked with gave us most generous discounts and assured me that if Jonathan (with his mobility problems) wanted to swim off the back of the boat, the crew would do everything to make sure he could. The crew were amazing and so strong- lifting him on a chair from one end of the boat to the other and helping him out of the sea by clearing the back of the boat when he was ready to get out and lowering it right down into the water and assisting him out. They took great care of him and whenever he moved, there was someone there straightaway to help him. The food was lovely and plentiful and the boat was spic and span. Dear Irene, Sorry it has taken a little while to respond, but I have been away on business for the last two weeks and Linda leaves this kind of thing to me. Anyway, enough of the excuses. There are though no excuses required in regard to our holiday with you in Cyprus. Our stay with your Company was in two words, "sheer perfection". The villa Kingfisher was wonderful and the two little problems we had, (the blinds and kettle) were put right by the owner straight away. Both he and your representative were polite, helpful and understanding, especially on the night we went out and miss-set the alarm. There is no doubt we will come and stay with you again, if you let us and we will certainly recommend you to our friends. Once again thanks for all you help. The villa was just pure luxury, I'd recommend it to anyone… never stayed in a villa before where the pool is so well looked after
Dear Irene, We all have a wonderful time in Cyprus. The villa was just pure luxury, I'd recommend it to anyone. We had a 2 yr old with us and it was great for her, having the large steps going in to the pool was good to as she could sit on them and play while still being in the water. Lots of toys there for a number of ages and the playstation was well used by the older ones. The pool man was great, we have never stayed in a villa before where the pool is so well looked after! He was round daily checking and testing the water, cleaning the bottom, sides. We didn't have any worries of our little one accidently swallowing any water. The villa is ideal for family's, we made use of the BBQ area, the lovely seating outside. The food in Coral Bay was still fantastic as always, the Italian at the end does the best steak ever! We couldn't fault our holiday, thank you so much and we will be contacting you in the near future regarding next years holiday. We miss Cyprus already!! Best wishes Catriona.

Hello Irene, as you know we have holidayed in villas for the past 5 years in Coral Bay and have always stayed in lovely villas in the heart of the resort. As our daughter was getting married in Paphos on the 3rd July we wanted a villa that was of exceptional quality and a bit more special in the heart of the resort...we were not disappointed! Kingfisher villa is of a very high standard and is equipped with everything you would need. I would like to thank you for your excellent booking service and Michael (Resort Manager) who visited us our first day and a very special thank you to Antoni (Gardener and pool man) who was always around and always checking everything was ok and offering advice regarding the area etc. and to Andreas (the owner) who popped in a couple of times and was always just a phone call away should anything go wrong with the villa, which was real peace of mind. We also took your advice and booked 2 cars through CY-Breeze and they were also very professional and offered a great service. We also used Steve's taxis several times and again their service was excellent and we got to know a few of the drivers....we will certainly be recommending Kingfisher Villa and Sundance Villas to all of our friends and family....thank you all of you who made our holiday so easy and hassle free.
