A few of our Testimonials and reviews for Sundance Villas are below.

Many recent reviews are not showing on the individual pages. We are aware of this problem. If you would like to be put in touch with someone who has stayed at the villa recently, just ask. Some clients book with me 2 or 3 times a year.

We know it is not easy to choose a villa, in fact it can be quite stressful. Irene welcomes your phone calls to have a chat to compare the villas, to help you choose. She selects all our Cyprus villas herself, so she knows our villas back to front. Call her during the day in Barnet, England. +44 (0) 2084406219

New Years holiday at Villa Ampelitis. Blissful – we really felt like we were living the life of celebrities

Wow! What an amazing week we have just had at Villa Ampelitis in Statos! We’d been looking forward to a break from it all but had not imagined just how relaxing it was going to be! From the outset, Irene at Sundance and later on Nicole, the owner of the villa, were incredibly helpful – nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of communication upon booking and then in the weeks prior to our trip, to ensure that everything was ready for us and as we wanted it. It was so kind of Nicole and Nicos to leave us a bottle of wine from the local winery (so good!), Keo, milk, bacon, salami, and other groceries to welcome us to their home!

As we were staying at the end of December, we paid the central heating supplement and for the pool to be heated to 30 degrees C and we’re so glad we did, everything was so cosy and the pool was blissful – we really felt like we were living the life of celebrities.

The villa itself is AMAZING! Glass everywhere, which makes it very light and airy, as well as super modern. In the summer you could open many of the glassed areas right up to bring the outside in, in the winter it meant we had beautiful views of the surrounding nature and sunrise/sunset. We were spoiled for choice on where to sit, so many beautiful outside spaces. We barbecued several times on the kettle bbq, I think if we’d been a larger party we would have used the huge bbq with built in food preparation area. We usually have problems sleeping when we’re away from home but the beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was too. I have to also mention the very tasteful Christmas decorations which were around the living area of the villa, they really did make us feel at home!

Everything about the villa is modern – superb bathroom facilities, leather reclining suite, wet room next to the pool etc., but the kitchen was fantastic! I had real home envy! Open plan and incorporating every piece of kit you could ever need (coffee machine, dishwasher, many pots and pans, a range of glassware, serving dishes, baking trays, a huge fridge), it was a joy to cook in.

We did a big shop on our way to Statos, which was recommended by Irene, as the locality just has a few small Mini-Markets and a butcher, where you can get great meat, milk, eggs, water, and basic items.

The pool is superb! We were in there for hours every day, it was particularly beautiful at sunset and lit up at night. It’s much longer than a villa pool usually is and I was able to swim lots of lengths each day as well as play with our children (aged 8 and 10) in there. Beautifully clean and well maintained, as the rest of the villa, the pool is just stunning.

We will definitely be back (maybe in the summer next time to see what it’s like in the heat, with all of the windows opened up) and wholeheartedly recommend Villa Ampelitis to families of 4, as we are, or large/extended family gatherings.

Thank you so much to Nicole and Nicos for making your home available to others to enjoy, and to Irene for introducing us to it!

Thank you again Nicole, Nicos and Irene, it was such a fantastic break and we really needed it! I am sure we will be back again soon!
Best wishes, Emma, Chris and the boys xxx

Disaster turned into an amazing holiday!
In our experience with villa holidays Sundance Villas is by far the best we have dealt with. We have recently completed our third Sundance Villas holiday In Cyprus, this time staying at the Villa Argaka Beach near Polis. Once again we had an amazing holiday.

The villa was immaculately clean throughout, extremely well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The outside area was also spacious with a well kept garden and large pool and private parking. We enjoyed an early morning swim each day at the local beach which was just a 2 minute walk from the villa. We had originally booked a two week villa holiday with James Villas via Jet2 in Coral Bay. This turned out to be a complete disaster for many reasons and we ended up vacating the villa before the end of the first week. We were so grateful to Irene Hare of Sundance Villas, who came to our rescue at very short notice and provided a choice of villas so that we were able to continue our holiday within 24 hours. The service provided by Irene, Savvas, (the villa owner) and Helen the local rep was truly outstanding and very much appreciated.

The lesson we have learned from this experience, is whenever we want a villa holiday in Cyprus it will always be with Sundance Villas.

Hi Irene, hope you are well with all this you know what going on.

Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time at the Villa Kingfisher ( Alkioni ) villa last week.

As you know we went for my wife’s very special surprise birthday with all of our very close family (9 of us in total).

The sun never stopped shining, the villa was spotless, the pool was fantastic and my 5 year old granddaughter loved every minute, simply fantastic.

We of course had to go through all of the Covid testing before we went, but we had the best time when we arrived. Stevie’s Taxi waiting outside the terminal, Chilled Keo and sparkling wine in the fridge at the villa, spare bed for the little one in the bedroom, all as promised, thank you.

We had to contact Andreas re a couple of small issues regarding the alarm and sunbeds but he responded very quickly and when he arrived  he presented my wife with a very fine chocolate birthday cake which was very well received by all of us, a lovely gesture. The cake was delicious. Please pass on to Andreas our gratitude for his kindness, a really fine man.

We had stopped in the villa five years earlier and the highlight of the afternoon was the arrival at the back gate of the local ice cream van which the kids loved, we were amazed and delighted when on the first day we heard the chimes of the same ice cream van coming down the lane, the grand children were beyond exited as they shouted ” it’s the ice cream man”, unbelievable. He stopped at the back gate every day for the whole week, simply wonderful, they loved it.

Irene, I know that this year must have been extremely difficult for you and it’s not finished yet, but please keep going, we all need people like you to lighten our lives and provide us with some relief.

I am writing this whilst watching the Manchester rain lashing against my home office window and thinking of the wonderful week that myself, my wife and our loved ones have just had in beautiful Cyprus, cannot wait till we go again.

Thank you for all your help,

Very best wishes and please keep well,

Alan Dilworth and Family.

Hi Irene
Just a quick message to thank you so much for rescuing our holiday and allowing us to enjoy our break after a horrendous experience with James Villas and Jet2 Villas. Lessons learned and no doubt we’ll be back in touch for next year. This year’s holiday was to celebrate Catherine’s retirement from teaching and because I’m semi retired it means we can holiday any time of the year which suits us.
Once again many thanks. Take care and stay safe.

Kindest regards

3 bedroom Villa Iris
very clean villa and pool with great comfy king size bed
We have been holidaying with sundance villas(Irene) for many years and stayed in quite a few different villas and have never been disappointed. We also always use cy-breeze(nik) for are car hire who as never let us down there service is always very good. Unfortunately this year my husband feel ill and was Admitted into hospital due to the rush had not got any contact details with us only my phone which didn’t have contacts in we had put them all in husband’s phone. So I phoned are eldest son and got him to contact Irene in the UK. With no hesitation before I knew it Irene had got in touch with rep Nicole and nik of cy-breeze all of them stayed in touch with us all the time and as I was stressed and panicking with such concerns for my husband they put me at ease with their genuine concerns for us. As I had no sleep at all with worry i was in no state to drive by this time so I would thank nik of cy-breeze for driving me to villa iris to collect are suitcases then back to the hospital. By this time my husband had recovered enough to fly home. I can not thank Irene, Nicole and Nik enough they were Absolutely fantastic which has given us so much confidence with sundance villas (Irene)we have already booked are holidays for the next 2 years and will always use cy-breeze(nik)for are car hire I must also add and say a big thank you to the owners of villa iris for your understanding Thank you Thank you Thank you Carol and Shaun Fenwick

Early April pool temperature up to over 80 F (Indian Ocean type temps) with the boost

Villa Rosa turned out to be an excellent venue for an early season break, the villa was equipped to a very high standard with everything you might wish for. We are very long term visitors to Cyprus having used many of the hotels around Paphos over the years and seen the area grow and develop it was therefore very interesting for us to stay in this lovely villa.
Rosa has a superb pool which was heated both by solar panels AND a further boost which we had daily to keep the temperature up to over 80 F (Indian Ocean type temps) to make early season swimming a delight, the villa is tucked away in a nice quiet location and we hardly ever saw or heard our neighbours, while the garden is laid out in a low maintenance manner but having some lovely flowers which were just starting to come into bloom, two bottle brush bushes of differing types which became very colourful as well at Pomellos and Grapefruit, the latter were very nice, but not having tasted the former were slightly disappointed at both the taste (very little) and the very thick skin, however the scent from the flowers is fantastic. The location of the Villa being very close to Coral Bay and Peyia means that you have a really good choice of places to eat and for us to revisit Seriani which we first visited when it opened over 25 years ago was a must, a very good and vastly changed and improved Taverna but still run by George who has both upgraded and modernised in this time, as well as instantly recognising us again. A visit to Kathikas just up the road was again a must and to have a few excellent and extremely good value meals at Yiannis and be treated to his great hospitality was very high on our things to do list and once again we were not wrong.
Having visited Cyprus so many times in the past, probably over 10 times now through Irene and Sundance villas we can only endorse Rosa as a beautiful addition to our list of venues.

Hi Irene,
4 bedroom Villa Kingfisher in Coral Bay
Just wanted to express my sincere thanks to you and your colleagues for helping to make our stay at the villa so enjoyable. Three generations of our family were there for my wife’s special birthday and we all had a wonderful time. The villa, grounds and its location are exceptional and we will recommend it highly to anyone. Can you please pass on to Andreas our thanks for immediately attending to the issues with the damaged sun loungers and the outside dining chairs and especially for allowing us to remain in the villa on our last day, this was a real bonus and we thank him very much indeed for his kindness.

Very many thanks once again,

Alan,

Hi Irene,
“The villa was fabulous and in a nice peaceful location with stunning views. We would recommend this villa to everyone and we will be back.”

Sorry about the delay in letting you know about our stay in Villa Quardia from 12 – 30 August 2015, had a lot going on since our return home.

Anyway:-
Even though we arrived around midnight we were met by Dino, who was more than happy to show us the important things and there was a great hamper waiting for us, ready for the morning, before we had chance to do our main shop.
Most days we were out and about seeing Cyprus, even went to Protaras, Cape Greco – spending two days in that area. Visited three waterparks, which were great fun. We hired a boat from Latchi Watersports for a full day which was brilliant, so we did it again towards the end of our holiday. The pool was the perfect place to unwind on our return, sometimes watching the swallows swoop down to take a drink .
We ate out a lot, either for Lunch or Dinner. The Meza’s were fabulous and food kept coming, only ordered three meza’s between four of us. If we had Meza at lunch we didn’t eat in the evening, or just had a snack. Can’t remember having a bad meal. Our favourite was the Samisen Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in Coral Bay. You get your own personal chef to prepare your food in front of you with a full show of comedy, juggling, fire and participative elements. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Probably the most expensive restaurant we went to, but worth every penny. We did find a couple of off the beaten track restaurants, can’t remember the names.
Dino and Vicky were really helpful and had a couple of nights talking with them. They even took time to take us to the little church in the village, which was off road. Dino got us trying Cactus fruit, which was gorgeous – everyone should try it, you will be surprised.
The villa was fabulous and in a nice peaceful location with stunning views.
We would recommend this villa to everyone and we will be back.
Thanks to you Irene for all your help before we went and while we were there and also thanks to Dino and Vicky for renting this villa to us.

Dear Irene,

Re: 4 bedroom Villa Orchid booked without car hire

I booked Villa Orchid with yourself in August 2015.
I just wanted to say thank you for the great service you provided.
You were really helpful in recommending a villa that fitted our requirements as we had three boys and one girl. We appreciated Nicole’s help on her visit with buses etc., she recommended trips, we booked some but she did not push them too much.
One of the trips she recommended was a jeep safari with Stevie’s, our driver Rodas (I probably have the spelling wrong) was absolutely lovely. He went at our pace so we spent longer at the places that interested us, he showed us all the fruits that were growing wild, and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

Thank you again for a lovely holiday.

Kind Regards
Cathy Byrne

“Absolutely Lovely”

4 bedroom Villa Kingfisher, Coral Bay

Just spent a very quiet week here 3 generations of one family the villa is in a great position about 10 minutes walk from shops and bars, a small bay about 5 minutes away coral bay beach about 15 minutes walk or couple of stops on bus. Villa is fully equipped very clean and we were looked after really well both by the cleaners Mel and her lovely husband and the owners who were great. Pool fantastic and cleaned on a very regular basis, outside kitchen and BBQ were really handy and used most evenings. This is a lovely villa and will most certainly book again. Would like to have had an extra set of towels per person and an IPod docking station would have been handy although there is a TV etc. it was to nice to sit outside during the evening.

“Perfect Family Retreat!”

We stayed at Villa Orchid for 2 weeks in June 2015, probably the most tranquil, peaceful 2 weeks of my life! It’s important to note that this Villa is not set in a commercial tourist resort, but in a rural agricultural area, surrounded by orchards and fields. However, everything that a tourist will look for is available too. The beach!!! Absolute solitude! No good for people watchers, but if you want a beach all to yourself, for as far as you can see, then look no more. Shared only by turtles that come up the sand during the night to lay their eggs!! Tried on 2 evenings after dark, but failed to see them, sadly. The trails of their endeavours are very clear in the light of the day though. For those that want a faster pace beach, Coral Bay is a pleasant drive not far away with all your normal tourist facilities.

Re the Villa itself: there were 7 of us, including 5 adults, and we found it to be extremely well appointed with loads of space. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom facilities, and the living quarters were really spacious. Entertainment facilities in the lounge were adequate, although maybe something that you could connect an ipod to would make it perfect. Minor criticism. Outside the pool was lovely and clean, with loads of pool furniture and eating areas. Check out the massive Orange, Lemon, Avocado and Pomegranate orchards nearby, and huge greenhouses. containing tomatoes and strawberries by the millions!! Teach your grandkids how to scrump for a few too!! 😉 A bakery/supermarket is only 150 yards walk, which sells all your daily needs. However, for the large weekly shop, then drive the 3 miles to Polis for a large supermarket with excellent fresh bread, meat, fish and delicatessen products!

We arranged this holiday ourselves, but with the help of Irene Hare from Sundance Villas. Everything ran so smoothly, that it seemed too good to be true!! Both the owner, but especially the local rep, Nicole, were both very quick in responding to queries, but noticeable. too, for not being intrusive. We used the recommended car hire firm, Cy-Breeze, who were 100% punctual, fairly priced and helpful when we had a problem. We assumed that the 7 seater vehicle we ordered would have room for luggage too. No problem on arrival, as 1 adult was just coming for the 2nd week only. So an 80/90 euro taxi looked like the only solution for the trip back to the airport. That’s when Nicole stepped in and arranged with Cy-Breeze to do the same thing for half that price!! Don’t think that would happen in the UK!! We eat in most nights, but loved the Halfway House restaurant, for evening meals/lunches and take-aways. Lovely food and people. The Irish pub was ok, but too much like British food. The Turtle Bay restaurant we didn’t bother with, after being turned away at 6.30 in the evening, due to it being their quiz/bingo night starting much later. (We’d have been gone by 7.30!!) Liza’s place was lovely, but either the driver’s didn’t drink, or the young girls with us had a long evening trek. What more can I say. I strongly recommend this Villa, and the company Sundance Villas, and certainly hope to be using them again in the future

“First villa holiday – won’t be the last!!”

Six of us went to Villa Ampelitis for my husband’s 40th birthday and we were thrilled with everything about it. The owners, Nikos and Nicole, have thought about absolutely everything and, bar a pair of binoculars which would have been useful, nothing is left wanting. The villa is stunning – the pictures do not do it justice really and this review would go on for quite a while were I to list everything good about it. Suffice to say, it was our first villa holiday but it won’t be our last. We rented a car from Nikos (necessary I’d say) and we managed to tear ourselves away from the pool and sunbathing decks to explore a little. As a wheelchair user, my husband was very impressed. Only the upstairs was out of bounds but, as there are two wheel in shower rooms and a double bedroom downstairs, he hardly suffered. It was great to see him wheel about without any impediments. The booking process was marvellous too, and Irene forwarded tons of very useful information to do with the surroundings and places to go. I would not hesitate to book this villa, or another with Sundance and I’ve already recommended it to several family members who generally go away as a group of ten and six. Six VERY happy customers x

Hi Irene, Just to let you know we had a fabulous relaxing 2 weeks at ‘The Cottage”. Zoe and George are a really great couple we Would definitely recommend this for tranquillity and relaxation. Zoe had prepared a lovely Bolognese on the night we arrived. Please give them our regards and thank them again from us x Maggie and Alan

Note from Irene: Zoe offers to cook for clients, especially handy on flight arrival day when you are tired

Hi Irene

Villa Quardia was beautiful! Met by dear Dinos, even tho it was after dark, who was very helpful showing us round etc. Peaceful location, stunning views, perfect to unwind from the stress of work and recharge. Easy to pop down to the supermarkets nearby and get groceries etc. Loved the privacy of the private pool for tired, middle-aged mum!

Loved the restaurant in Miliou – was not expecting such a gem off the beaten track. Also the Herb Garden Cafe in Akourdaleia. Car is definitely required, but worth the benefits of having a retreat to return to away from the touristy bits. Drove to Nicosia, and (nearly) to Limassol – Kourion amphitheatre for history stuff – up into the mountains to Kykkos monastery, along to the Turkish border on north for empty beaches – not all in one day, obviously!

You’re definitely great agents – nice to feel ‘connected’ by a courtesy text, just in case etc. A wonderful experience that I would recommend to friends.

Cypriot people – helpful, kindly and old-fashionedly courteous – I want to go back!! thank you all, UK and Cyprus, for our wonderful holiday 🙂

Katrina and Family
Note from Irene. There are now 2 gem taverns in Miliou!

Hi Irene, Just to let you know that we had a good holiday at Vineyard Breeze, the views were fantastic and we had the pleasure of meeting George and his family, lovely people. The villa is very spacious with everything you need. The welcome pack was tremendous with plenty for everyone to eat the first morning. Thanks for everything and the future. Ray & party

Hi Irene

Have just returned home from a perfect holiday in Katerina Cottage. The villa was fantastic with the most amazing pool I have seen in Cyprus. Lambros and his family were just so helpful and on the few occasions where we needed help he was there within a quarter of an hour to sort it for us. We wanted a restful holiday after some stressful times at home and Katerina was perfect for this. Not overlooked by anything and no other villa in the area we could just relax by the pool with no noise apart from the birds and the occasional cockerel. Lambros allowed us to collect fresh eggs and nectarines and peaches from his orchard by the villa which was a bonus. We found the bed a little harder than we are used to but again Lambros was very helpful in bringing larger sheets so we could put quilts under the sheets which sorted this out.

Just a short walk away was a water park, a great mini golf course and a carting track, so plenty to do if you can tear yourself away from the pool! We had a great meat meze in Costa’s Greek Tavern in Geroskipou on Nicole’s recommendation and there we so many meat dishes that we had to give up before our stomachs exploded!

… a wonderful holiday in Katerina which had all the facilities we could ask for from a villa. Many thanks for everything.

Roy and Sue

“Tranquility if you want it,alternatives not far away”
5 of 5 stars Trip Advisor review for a stay in April 2015 NEW
The Cottage is ideal for couples and has its own exclusive pool and orchard.
A Toyota car comes with it in the tranquil lower Troodos village of Nikoklia.
The nearby village of Kouklia has several tavernas of good quality and many beaches are a short drive away. The owners, George and Zoe live next door and are very helpful whilst respecting your privacy.

Traveling group: Spouse/Partner
Would I recommend this vacation rental to my best friend? Yes.

Hi Irene,
What more can be said about ‘Villa Filip’ that hasn’t already been said, this is a excellent villa with every imaginable convenience you could wish for. Filip has obviously put a lot of thought into it when he built the villa, as it wants for nothing. The canopy at the pool area is a brill idea and much needed when the sun gets too hot, as it did for us, on some days it was in the 90s, even the pool was like getting into a warm bath. There is ample seating both at the front and back should you wish to entertain guests. The villa is located in a prime location with easy access to Coral Bay/Paphos and is only about a 25 min drive to Polis/Latchi. All the local amenities are handy with Phillipos Supermarket about a 5 min drive away. There are plenty of Tavernas to choose from, we tended to visit ‘King Solomons’ which was very reasonable and very friendly. Filip couldn’t be more helpful, he visited us on our second day to make sure everything was ok and even gave us his home phone number in case anything went wrong, a very nice and cheerful person, we wanted for nothing in the villa, there were even kitchen cleaning materials provided. All in all this is an excellent Villa, if you’re looking for somewhere secluded with easy access to places, then this is the perfect choice, we couldn’t fault it one bit. Well done Filip and well done Irene/Sundance for having it on your books. Ray, Eve and party (25/6 – 2/7/14)
Dear Irene,

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Katarina Cottage. On arrival we were met by the taxi from Stevie Cabs booked on line no trouble. When we arrived at the villa we found a lovely welcome pack of wine eggs bacon bread and home made cookies. The villa was clean and the pool was inviting which we took full advantage off. The whole week was stress free and Lambros and Maria the owners came to see us the next day and gave us his contact number if we had any problems. Irene I can not thank you enough for helping us achieve a stress free holiday in such a beautiful place We look forward to booking with you again soon

Kind regards Sue, Andy and Louis Barke

Hi Irene

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in the Katerina cottage, from the word go everything was stress free, Lambros and his family were sooooo helpful and really nice he even gave us a lift to the airport on our last day. The bus stop outside the villa came in very handy and doesn’t take long to get to the harbour. Everybody in Cyprus was really nice and always very helpful. The cottage was nice and clean and Lambros thought of everything with having a little one with us. Milk, bread, coffee everything was there ready for us as we arrived late so shops were closed.

Thank you so much for all your help and we would definately consider going back again

Yours sincerely Nat Carl and Maiseymae

Dear Lauren,

We found Villa Aurora delightful in virtually every way. We didn’t want to put the immersion heater on – I think we used it twice, once by accident once by design – so we adjusted showering and shaving to the afternoon when we had plenty of hot water. That said, we have nothing but praise:- Shangri La translated to Cyprus, under a different but most appropriate name as I found myself getting up early to watch each day’s dawn, a wonderful sight. We were so absorbed by Aurora’s attractions that we ended up making a fraction of the excursions that we had in mind! Having said that we will almost certainly visit Kykkos and the Troodos mountains next year and are entertaining the notion of that long day excursion to Israel. Any details would be appreciated.

You will know that we have expressed the wish to book Aurora next year for the four plus weeks in 2014……

I cannot end this ever lengthening email without expressing how much we appreciated the warmth and hospitality of Michalis, Stefanos and Chrysoulla, and, indeed, the warm generosity of spirit that seems to infect the island. On one occasion we gave a fellow customer at a local supermarket so much amusement that he dived into his van and presented us with a bunch of herbs. I quote this only as a particular illustration of a general trait. Delightful people everywhere and delightful experiences daily. And, of course, there is you and your representative, Nicole I think. Your organisation has been smooth and efficient without being officious, and most pleasingly personal. Do apologise to Nicole for my ill manners in not replying to her emails and thank her for her cool advice on the one occasion that we had need of it. If there is one request you might pass on, may I suggest an idiot’s guide to the use of the DVD player and Wifi. The wifi we managed (with help) the DVD remained a mystery (despite help!)

Yours most sincerely,

Paul D

P.S. You cannot have other properties as attractive as Aurora, can you? I ask merely out of curiosity just in case a time should arise when Aurora is not available.

PPS. The ring is Jackie’s. She says she will collect it when we return next year!

Hi Irene,

Villa Athena, what can I say, we all had the perfect holiday in the perfect location for the 4th year running.

The villa was perfect as usual, no problems and not lacking in anything you wouldn’t find at home, the pool is fab the kids live in it from the moment we get there until late into the night due to the solar heating its just never cold, the beach is a firm favorite as they love the water sports, carhire is Not needed unless you want to explore the island which is great and very clearly sign posted whereever you are driving to and Cy Breeze are brilliant to deal with nothing is to much for them we always spend the last day in Pafos and they collect the car from the car park as we use it to store the cases for the day.

The wavedancer boat trip should not be missed its a great evening of dinner cabaret fireworks and dancing out at sea, the local buses are very easy to use and are only a euro into town from the villa so won’t break the bank, taxi’s are everwhere so never stuck or stranded, Nicole is always just a phone call away should we need any assistance with anything, and booking is so easy compared to most and Sundance Villas couldn’t be more helpful if they tried, it really is a holiday from start to finish the only downside is that you have to go home eventually.

Donovan Family, Stockport, September 2013

Dear Irene,

Argaka Coast was beautiful, wonderfully well-stocked and immaculately clean. The photos advertising the property on your site were true to form and reality certainly did not disappoint! The best villa we have stayed in to date by far! The children loved the pool and baby splash pool and the kind heartedness of previous tenants meant that our boys had a great selection of inflatables and pool toys to play with. The added bonus of free Wifi, table tennis and pool tables kept us all occupied when needing a break from the beautiful sunshine!

We found Argaka to be an excellent base with a pleasant beach, and a handful of restaurants/shops close to hand. Car hire definitely recommended in order to have a wider choice of restaurants, shops etc, but it was so nice to relax at the villa and get away from all the hub-bub when we chose to. A very peaceful resort within easy reach of most places of interest.

Tavernas and trips: We loved Liza’s Place (literally on the doorstep) and Santa Barbara’s on the beach was lovely to sit and watch the sun go down. We also dined at Moustakallis’ in Polis (best calamari ever!) and Finikas in Polis. Mylo’s was a wonderful experience with great views of the gorge too and there were two lovely fish restaurants in Pomos. Beachwise, we did visit Paphos beach (rather busy), Latsi beach (very nice and great for swimming), Lara bay (wonderful for educating ourselves about the beautiful turtle conservation projects) and the beautiful heart-shaped bay of Kato Pyrgos. We took a trip to the Akamas National Park (arranged via the very helpful and efficient Sundance Rep. Nicole) which was a great day out and worth every penny for the views. One afternoon we drove up into the Troodos Mountains, stopping at the Kykkos Monastery – a wonderful exciting journey, with winding roads and outstanding views.

We were absolutely satisfied with the service from Sundance Villas, no complaints whatsoever, thank you. The literature and tips you provided prior to and during our holiday was very useful and much appreciated.

The owner, Savvas, was an absolute delight and we looked forward to his visits in the morning! He was helpful and kind and dealt with matters promptly and professionally. Likewise, his wife was wonderfully welcoming and the Sundance Villas welcome pack on arrival was SO appreciated.

We would not hesitate to book through Sundance Villas again in the future and would highly recommend you to others.

Best wishes and many thanks

“didn’t need a hire car there as the bus service is so reliable and cheap and stops right outside of the villa drive”

Hi Irene,

We had a fantastic time at Villa Katerina, Lambros the owner is a really nice guy and gave us plenty of advice during the holiday along with fresh eggs from his chickens. The villa was well equipped and clean, plus the pool not only a good size, but nice and warm! Location of the villa is good for privacy but still accessible for getting into town etc. We certainly didn’t need a hire car there as the bus service is so reliable and cheap and stops right outside of the villa drive. Unfortunately bikes were both mens and being a lady of a certain age I thought I may fall off because of the crossbar! (Lambros took this on board and intends to get a lady’s bike)

We would thoroughly recommend the villa to others and are giving serious thought to returning next year for 3 weeks.

“Quiet, relaxing and private”

If you want somewhere to completely unwind then I would recommend you consider this bungalow. We rented the Stone House through Sundance Villas and the information pack given to us was very comprehensive and the directions and descriptions were accurate. I would recommend Sundance Villas as an agent and also the stone house as a place to stay. In Cyprus the neighbours were friendly and helpful but not intrusive, the owner of the house popped round to see if all was well and very thoughtfully brought us some courgettes from their allotment. Might sound odd, but there are two Lidl supermarkets in Paphos now, so we stocked up on lovely cypriot food there and had plenty of barbecues by the poolside. You need a car really for this area – we ended up with a Kia Picanto which struggled a bit up the hills but managed. When you are reading road maps – be aware that B roads in Cyprus are maybe not as well surfaced as you might expect! We had some interesting experiences when we were exploring. In June the weather was lovely but incredibly hot still, where the bungalow is there is a little more breeze than down at the coast which was lovely. Down in Paphos town the heat felt very heavy and we were pleased to get back up into the hill where the air was lighter. We needed air conditioning for the bedroom, but the living room and kitchen you can open up to the pool and get air in that way. Around the pool it was nice to have different options of where to sit and there was plenty of shade under the terrace or the parasol to keep us cool when we needed it. I would love to stay here again if I had the chance. And if you decide to stay in this bungalow I hope you have as nice a time as we did. x

5 out of 5

A superb stay at the Argaka Sand Villa for family of 4. Irene was really helpful on booking arrangements, providing lots of local insights and on arrival we had all we needed to get going. Used CYBREEZE for car which was also excellent. The villa location is peaceful with 2 very different restaurants in walking distance. The cleanliness and quality of equipment was excellent. Really appreciated the good beds, quality kitchen equipment and the solar heated pool. Savas the owner was really helpful on anything we wanted, midstay clean was a top-to-bottom full job which was great. Beach and sea good to look at but more stone than sand but the pool was so good. If you want quiet, quality and relaxation, this place can not be beat … but you can easily drive into Polis which we did a few times. And all this for a very reasonable price considering the quality. We never normally return to a property for holiday but we immediately booked this for a return in 2014.

“Outstanding facilities”

5 out of 5 Villa Argaka Sand

A beautiful Villa in a very quiet area but with the added bonus of a Solar Heated Pool which was magnificent. The water was very comfortable when we arrived and was at “Laze and Enjoy” temperature by the time we left. It is well looked after with the owner looking in to check every morning about 7.30. It was kept beautifully clean as was the villa and this was given a virtual “Spring Clean” after 7 days. The owner is very attentive and we can not speak too highly of him. The situation of the Villa virtually on the beach yet within walking distance of two excellent tavernas makes it an ideal holiday venue.

There is a very strong possibility we will return.

Dear Irene ,

I just want to say a very big thank you to you for making my stay in Cyprus so perfect. I was in desperate need of peace and tranquility, I found this and more! The villa Aphrodite was perfect and as you said secluded but not isolated, so as a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. The owners made me feel very welcome and the pre ordered shopping meant I could settle in and relax as soon as I arrived. The only thing I can fault is that I booked for a week and not longer, so I would love to return in September !!! I will be in touch shortly to see if this is possible.

Kindest regards

Concetta xx

PS. Your choice in wine (red Status 99 Kolios winery) was perfect too x

Dear Irene

We arrived home safely at 3 am this morning, tired but happy after a fantastic week at Villa Filip.

The villa looked wonderful on your website but we thought it was even better in reality, more spacious than it looked in the video and we fell in love with it from the first moment.

The welcome hamper was there and was very welcome! The whole villa was spic and span and there is nothing I can find any fault with whatsoever.

Because we arrived at the villa late we didn’t see Nicole until Tuesday morning, but she was most helpful and gave us some useful pointers on days out. She recommended the Wavedancer firework cruise which we went on on Friday and she was right, it was a wonderful evening out. The food was good and plentiful, the show and the singers were excellent and we enjoyed it all.

In truth we hardly stirred from the villa all week, with occasional trips toPhilippos supermarket, but did eat out a few times. The King Solomans Tavern served excellent food and although the a la carte prices were a little high they offered us the set menu 3 course meal for 10 Euros which was excellent value. The staff were very helpful. We also had another lovely meal at Anesi restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. We went to the George, mainly because they had set up a huge outdoor TV screen to watch the England world cup game, and we had a meal before the match. The new owners had only been there for 6 weeks and some items on the menu were not available yet, but what we did have was good. They even offered a free chicken curry to everyone at half time, although we didn’t have it. The place was packed out and the staff did well to cope! We went to the Paphos Bird and Animal Park after checking out of the villa on Sunday and popped into the restaurant there for a meal. The portions were very generous and I had the biggest chicken and mushroom pie I have ever seen. The food was excellent quality too and very inexpensive!

We learned valuable lessons in what not to take to the villa! We took far too many clothes and really spent most of the week in just swimming cossies and took most of the T-shirts, shorts, underwear back home unused. We won’t take the laptop or satnav next time as there was little mapping available. We took our own beach towels for the sunbeds, but in the event there were lots of towels in the villa and Filip said we were welcome to use these. Although we went to look at Coral Bay beach one evening we actually spent every day by the pool in the villa.

It is difficult to think of anything you could have done differently or better and I thank all at Sundance and Filip himself for making it such a lovely holiday. We decided after just one day there that we would come back to Villa Filip next year for 2 weeks, and I have already submitted a booking application this morning. I will book the flights later in the year and I am assuming the flights from Bournemouth will be on a Sunday again next year. If not I may need to change the booking slightly but we will definitely be going!

Thanks again, Irene

Hi Irene,

Have been waiting for some sun here to recapture the spirit of our holiday – some chance! It is very hard to expand on previous comments of people who have stayed at Villa Aurora but will try. If you need an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this is the place for you. We arrived in the dark and in pouring rain so were unable to appreciate the location until the next morning – breathtakingly beautiful! Taking in the panoramic views on the roof terrace as the sun rose with the first cuppa of the day – magic. We live in the country but the position of the villa meant you are able to appreciate the views at all times of the day – and at night the sky was wall to wall stars. Having been to Cyprus before we chose to make this holiday a ‘chill out’ one which we did to the full – we got up intending to go out, looked at each other and thought ‘we’ll stay here’. The welcome pack was such that we did not need to go out for supplies immediately and the supplies in the villa are better than home and so we stayed put and enjoyed the ever changing view as the sun moved round. Michael made us very welcome and brought us some home made jam and had left preserved fruit in the fridge – lovely but unfortunately too sweet for us – and we met his wife and his lovely dog Filousa? mid way through our stay. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Hi Irene,

We are back from our holidays. Villa Argaka Shore was great. Spacious, very well equipped, big pool, big garden, 50m to the warm sea – what else shall we need for a great vacations?! Thank you for your help. We`ll definitely recommend this way of holiday accommodation to our friends.

Best regards

Hi Irene,

We’ve just returned from our two weeks at Villa Quardia and I wanted to drop you a note to thank you, once again, for the excellent service provided by Sundance and crew.

The villa was absolutely excellent with all of the aspects of peace, tranquillity and utter privacy that we look for. The villa is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and the ‘managers’, Dino and Vicky are just wonderful and respect your privacy with great delicacy. We spent a couple of happy evenings with them. Star gazing is such a wonderful experience here that I don’t know why you don’t mention it more in your literature. There’s nothing better than watching swallows swoop to drink from you swimming pool at dusk and then, having dined very well indeed, lying back to marvel at the Milky Way late at night, with just the noise of the crickets to accompany you.

Taking this villa means that you must have a car and it is perfectly located for access to all of the ‘good stuff’ that this part of Cyprus has to offer. It’s not a bad life when the greatest stress is deciding whether to laze by the lovely pool or drive up into the beautiful Troodos!

We, again, took a 4×4 from Cy-Breeze and all was as good as previously. The car developed a problem but I took it Cy-Breeze and they sorted it out there and then. For me, no company can guarantee that nothing ever goes wrong and a good company is marked by what they do when it does go wrong. Cy-Breeze were great. My only sorrow was that I hoped to meet Nick but he was away in Germany at the time.

Favourite meals were eaten at:

Samisen Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in Coral Bay (details on the Web) and is absolutely fabulous. Each party gets its own, personal, chef to prepare their food in front of them (every table has its own cooking range) and it’s a full ‘show’ with comedy, juggling, fire and participative elements. But don’t be fooled! Although the ‘show’ is the wow factor, the food itself is excellent and even the most fussy of eaters will find something delicious on the extensive menu. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It still only cost us about £50 for two of us.

Romantica Restaurante – This is an Italian restaurant on the main sea front road between Kato Paphos and the new ‘tourist area’. Quite up market and the food is absolutely excellent.

Paradisos Hills Hotel – Here, in this very friendly little hotel, we were offered a fairly good menu of fairly good food. But that’s not the attraction here. The dining area is on a balcony overlooking the hotel pool and then right down the valley to the sea. After eating, we took our drinks down to the bottom of the garden and sat on the lovely little seat that’s perched above a drop (no H&S railing here thank you), watching the sun set in beautiful peace. Very romantic. I’m sure that lots of people miss this place as it doesn’t look like much more than a hotel, but it’s well worth a visit.

The Farmyard Restaurant – In Kathikas, this is a bit of a surprise. It looks just like any other taverna but, once inside, you find it to be much more ‘up market’, with nice linen, cutlery and glassware. The menu is very good and, when it arrives, the food is excellent. It’s on the main road to Latchi and is well worth a visit.

The new directions are perfect and could only be bettered by the provision of a native tracker.

We would be very happy to stay here again.

We’ll be back in Cyprus, and with Sundance, so thanks again and see you soon!

Clive B

_____________________________________________________________________________________Hi Irene

Eleni at Sa Buneri sends her love, she made us very welcome and we had drinks there one evening and a great meze there one lunchtime. Dropped in for coffee and cake on the way home, at her invitation and she had baked an olive and fruit cake – strange combination. What a lovely lady.

We also ate at the taverna in Simou – The Pomegranate – to the right as you come up into the square. A really nice couple now run it and are desperate for tourists. We ended up strolling up to it in the evenings for a glass or two of Keo and ate there several times. 15 course meze for 10 euros!!! Antonia, who runs it with her husband speakes English very well and has taught us some Greek. If you feel you can it would be good if you could give her a boost by listing her in your restaurant list etc. The local elders drink there as well so there is a lot of “local colour”. We even got them to acknowledge us and smile by the end of the week!

A delightful place and Michalis and his wife made us very welcome. They left us home made olives and jam as well as a pomodoro (I think that is how you spell it) a sort of enormous grapefruit. They also left us loads of wedding cakes ( pastry boules with nuts in the middle coated with icing sugar) apparently their son got married a couple of weeks ago. Just a joy to stay there from start to finish. For us the location was perfect.

Cy breeze were very effcient and the suzuki jeep was great fun to drive. We liked it so much we came home andbought one!

We had a great holiday at Villa Aurora and have some lovely memories now. We will be in contact again when we want another villa there.

All good wishes

Maggie & Dave

Hi Irene.

The overall experience with Sundance Villas has been fantastic. As you probably remember, we had a number of issues during our booking, travel and holiday itself. All of these inconveniences were minimised by the direct personal contact and efficiency of the Sundance staff.

We always had absolute confidence that Sundance were available with a quick phonecall, and able to work behind the scenes to ensure our holiday went smoothly.

Both villas were accurately described, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. The welcome packs were very welcome, and the service from the villas maintenance staff was friendly, helpful and generally unobtrusive. The personal contact with the owners was an appreciated touch and made it feel less like a holiday and more like a visit to a friend’s house.

I could not think of anything lacking from either villa and both were perfect for our family of five.

I would not hesitate to recommend Sundance villas to anyone, it’s been a superb, friendly service from the very first contact.

Additionally, the Cy-Breeze hire car service was by far the best I have ever experienced! With friendly, helpful staff always available our vehicle pickup, return and changeovers (and the stolen windscreen wiper incident!) were smoothly handled and gave us great confidence.

Finally a big thank-you to you, Irene. Although I am sure you give the same excellent level of service to all of your customers, it really felt like you went the extra mile with our holiday. Having you as part of the organising team gave us a level of confidence that everything would run smoothly that we have not felt with any other holiday company.

Thank you for making our holiday a proper holiday!

Stuart Morgan

Dear Irene,

Stone House December

First of all Irene thanks for arranging such a lovely villa and location – we did go to Paphos once to look at the harbour after we had been walking most of the day up to Lara bay, That was enough of Paphos for the rest of the holiday, but we may not be typical British Holiday makers.

The villa was lovely. Very comfortable, lovely views, well equipped for us anyway, and once we had sorted the fire to take the evening chill off, it was fine. The pool looked good – long enough for several strokes but even with the beautiful weather we had it was still too chilly to tempt us.

The first night we tried the fire we found quite a noticeable level of smoke in the room. I think that this may well have been due to me building the fire too close to the front of the hearth. Unfortunately we employed two solutions at once the next night and did not test if both were necessary. We cleared the mantelpiece of decorations and using small pieces of rock as weights hung a curtain of aluminium foil across the top 3 inches of the fire opening – we used a thick stick to extend the centre of the curtain out towards the room in a curve. This prevented smoke from rolling across the top of the fire space and out into the room. At the same time I made sure that I built the fire right at the back of the hearth, and kept it there. We had no smoke in the room at all after that. However, I didn’t try taking the foil away to see if it was necessary because it was rather delicate to make and I didn’t want to end up having to remake it ! I should give Linda the credit for the design, manufacture and hanging of the foil hood.

The only other points relating to the fire were 1. I could not find a poker or something similar to move the logs in the fire. 2. The axe was useful to split some logs to get the fire going with, but the axe head was very loose fitted and I couldn’t find anything to wedge it on with. I should probably have contacted Yiote about it but it wasn’t a big problem. (Note from Irene, these items are now in villa.)

As far as recommendations go – the Aphrodite trail from her baths near Lakki was a superb walk as was a walk we did from Nikoklia up the valley to the deserted Turkish village then up along the ridge to Kukuklia and back to Nikoklia. The walk to Lara on the west side of the Akamas was very nice but there was a marked ignoring of the “no shooting” and “Vehicles should keep to the road” notices, judging by the shotgun cartridges and wheelie tyre tracks on the beach and walking track. All the hill villages were interesting, as were the two Monasteries up on Pano Pageia.

We found the more simple looking Cafes/Tavernas were far more interesting with very friendly reception and service albeit with limited menus or none at all, than the larger more salubrious looking ones. This was particularly the case where the locals were present. This applied in all the mountain villages as well as Stroumpi. In fact the only place where we did not get an enthusiastic friendly welcome was in Dionoysis in Stroumpi. The three women serving were more interested in watching the TV in front of the fire with their cigarettes, than serving us. I had to keep getting up to ask for things. It was early I have to accept – probably 6 to 6.30 pm and there were definitely no locals in!

The Villa was excellent for winter, particularly as you observed for the morning sunlight which it caught beautifully.. We had inversions below us in the valley on two or three mornings, so maybe the Cottage at Nikoklia would have been under mist at those times and so colder. We liked Nikoklia but couldn’t remember exactly where the Cottage was located. I think that we managed to get its general location from the lovely Old Lady running the tiny coffee house but we didn’t actually see it. Stroumpi was probably better for the winter because of more facilities in walking distance, but I would like to see Nikoklia in the Spring. (Note from Irene, Yes it’s beautiful especially the wild anemones in the valley.)

Sundance Villas seem to be a very well organised and customer orientated company and made our visit to Cyprus very easy.

Regards and Thanks again.

Dear Irene

Sorry to miss you when you visited Villa Timily last week (I never did receive that text, must still be flying around the ether!). We enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was perfect for my dad – he found it very easy to get about in his wheelchair, so much so he especially wanted to take the accessible en suite home! It was very quiet, without the usual crowing cockerels and barking dogs you often get in Greece, which made for a very relaxing holiday!

The villa was very well equipped, it was a pleasure to stay in. I think the only suggestion we would make is a side/coffee table in the living area! I’m sure however if the evenings were warmer we’d have been living outside more and not been sitting in the living room so wouldn’t have noticed.

The November weather was good (as you found too!), albeit a bit colder in the evenings than it seemed to be down in Paphos area from what a couple in the airport said. We did have to succumb to using the air con for heating the living room and my parents room for a few hours on Wed and Thurs evening when the temperature seemed to dip a bit more. Thanks once again for your service, we’d definitely recommend Sundance to others

Hello Irene,

Villa Aurora

We wanted to thank you for all the help you gave us in organizing our holiday and finding such a pleasant villa. It was one of the best holidays we have had!

Cy-breeze were so helpful and efficient-the little car we had managed the roads very well but we didn’t go off road!

Michael and his wife are delightful and keep the villa so clean. The position is stunning isn’t it?! We had a lot of moonlight while we were there and the countryside looked beautiful even at night. The weather was consistently good to say we were into October. One night we had a spectacular storm which I thoroughly enjoyed-David slept through it!

Nicole was also helpful and some of what she told us helped as we travelled around. The comments in the visitors book are also a great source of local knowledge. Unfortunately (in one way), we were not able to go to Eleni (Sa Buneri)as much as we would have normally. We met up with some friends who have emigrated to Cyprus and who live nearby, so were out and about with them.

We hope you and Lauren are well. Here’s hoping we will be able to go back to Cyprus again-we would certainly like to and will get in touch if that proves possible.

Warm Regards,

David & Louisa Jones

Hi Irene,

Now that our holiday is history we would like to give you some feedback.

First of all the island is beautiful, the weather was just what we expected and the villa Eleni absolutely perfect! Also we were very satisfied with our car from Cy-Breeze.

As a matter of fact, so perfect that we decided already to come back next year. Naturally we will let you know as soon as possible when we can make our definite booking.

For this moment again just the two of us, but perhaps we will bring our friends Frans & Didy.

We would like to hear from you

Kind regards,

Guy Moolenaar & Jobs Kouwenhoven

Irene,

I apologise. It is long overdue. We were very pleased with the villa Argaka Shore. Rooms are of right size and well equipped. This is a convenient place for car-renting, peace-loving tourists. It is 5 km form Polis so very few people come to the beach (80 metres from the villa) and shopping is easy and convenient with well-supplied supermarket in town. Copy/paste the following into Google Maps search to see the satellite view of the villa:35.076971,32.482278 .

We specially recommend the place for families with small kids. The paddling pool was THE beloved place for our 3yr old grandson – a safe place for various water games (do not forget to buy a light-weight fishing net!). There was a nice toy box provided by the landlord and a small, but still nice playground just in front of the villa.

The nearby beach is a mix of dark sand and pebbles. A committed grandfather is able to clean a 2 sqr meters area of pebbles and create a great place for sandcastle works.

For grown-ups a true treat: a reliable Wi-Fi giving unlimited access to the Internet

Please note that the early September weather in Cyprus is just great, sea is warm, the sunlight last from 7am till 8pm, evenings are nicely warm.

Best regards

Romek Kepa

Irene

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you however we seem to have been rushing about everywhere since coming back from Cyprus.

I think we might need another holiday!

We had a wonderful time in Cyprus and the Villa Augusta was great. We had a slight hiccup on our arrival as we couldn’t get the air conditioning units to work in any of the bedrooms. I contacted George who came round immediately even though he was at a wedding and after some work by his electrician we discovered that it was a remote control problem. George was very friendly and helpful and recommended a restaurant called Famagusta in Chlorakas, as by the time we had everything sorted out it was getting late for eating. We went to it twice during our stay and were delighted with the food and friendliness of the owner and his staff. It is definitely worth a visit – a real find.

Nicole paid us a visit one day after we arrived and gave us a number of ideas for trips and restaurants. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we were there for a family wedding we were unable to do very much, however she has given us lots of ideas for when we return. She was very helpful and even arranged for us to stay until 4pm on our departure day as no one was coming in to the Villa following our departure. That was very useful as we were able to relax by the pool before setting off for the airport.

The three bedrooms mean that the Villa is ideal for families… the three toilets were very useful as there is one on each floor.

The bar-b-cue was very useful as was the shaded seating area at the patio doors leading from the downstairs bedroom.

We loved the fact that there were lots of loungers and parasols and once we got used to the heat we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool.

The car hire company you suggested, Cy- Breeze, were waiting for us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful. Your instructions on how to reach our villa were very accurate and easy to follow – my wife loved the way you mentioned familiar shops etc to look out for to ensure we were going in the right direction – definitely women friendly! The location of this Villa is very handy even if you had no hire car as Nicole informed us that there was an excellent bus service to and from Paphos passing the road end. Nicole also advised us about Stevie’s taxis and we found them very good on the couple of occasions we used them.

All in all we were very pleased with the Villa and we will certainly be contacting you again, however we might choose a time when it is not quite so hot!

Thanks very much for all your recommendations.

Regards

Hi Irene,

We had one of the best holidays we have ever had. The Villa Iris was fantastic, it’s location is great. The local restaurants were great especially the one at the end of the road, within walking distance and great food. We also visited Yiannis’s in Kathikas and loved it, great food and a lovely atmosphere.

Nicole was lovely and a great help when ever we needed anything, she helped with our trip to Latchi which we all enjoyed.

I would not hesitate to recommend you and I would definitely rebook with you.

Kind Regards

Shelley Morgan

Dear Irene,

Aurora was fantastic!! The views are phenomenal, binoculars are essential (We both took a pair). Watching the sheep going to their grazing and the goats going in a different direction was an early morning relaxation we are now missing!

The villa is equipped with everything and we found our 10 days just flew. We had a small improptu “violin recital” whilst having elevenses in Simou, a weaving demonstration at the museum in Phiti, great meals at Lisa’s, Moustakkalis and Finikas, also the Farmyard in Kathikas which has an extremely good Buffet on a Tuesday evening which is terrific value!

A truly wonderful break, many thanks.

Bob & Avril Clark.

Aylesbury 2nd booking with you this year

Dear Irene,

Sorry for the delay in replying to you.

Villa Ampelitis is perfect! It had everything we could possibly have needed and both Nicos and Nicole were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Thank you again for all your help.

Kind regards

Hello Irene,

Replying to your question about the grab-handle at Villa Athena, yes, there was one near the steps and it certainly made a difference getting in and out of the pool. Actually I noticed that everybody was using it and not just me!

Another thing which we found useful was a couple of small plastic stools in the villa. I found these helped me get into the bath/ shower. One also was very useful to me in climbing into large hire car – in fact we took it around with us!

Testimonial:

Highlights of the holiday: What a wonderful holiday – wish we were still there. Cy-Breeze car hire met us at the airport with a much needed friendly face. The villa itself was perfect for us and the pool was warm and inviting and the car even had its own shaded area!

Three of our party went out on the Jeep Safari to the mountains and had a great time. On another day two of us went to Polis via the rougher roads via the Lara peninsula. When we got to Polis (where we’d had a villa from you last year) we went to Moussakalis Taverna and had lunch and were remembered from last year!

I hired a mobility scooter from Oberon Explorations who kindly brought along a portable ramp so I could get up and down the fairly serious kerbs in the local area. They were much used.

Thanks to Nicole the Sundance Rep.for her help – especially in finding out where and when the local football matches were being held.

Looking forward to next year – Carolyn, Dave, Victoria, Matthew Ellis and Jenny

Hi Irene.
We are cruising next year, but are looking to return the year after. So will contact you nearer the time.

Villa Athena:- August 2011
Absolutely delighted. Can’t think of a thing we would change or anything that was a miss.
Villa very roomy and airy. Spotless and well equipped.
Although we were 2 couples sharing we still had our own space, as the villa is on two levels. It would also be ideal for families.

It was great to able to have a swim before breakfast. The pool is maintained to a very high standard. As we were there in August so we didn’t need the pool heating, and it was a great temperature anytime of day. Mind you the weather was 37 most days!!! The guy who looked after the pool and gardens was great, very friendly and had a good knowledge of the area, very nice to talk to. The gardens were well cared for and offered sun or shade. The villa had a canopy built on outside where it was nice to eat or read, and the trees also offered shade. While if you could stand that heat the sun loungers could be placed on the lawns. The villa has a carport which was brilliant, as the car was cool to get into at anytime of day.

Nicole was great she came the morning after we arrived, she told us allsorts of things. Trips available (discounts for Sundance clients), bus routes, and places of interest, times of business. She also gave us maps of the local area and the island. We booked the Wavedancer Firework Evening though her. It was a great night. Andrea the owner is charming and very friendly.

We did eat out every night, but the villa has everything you could need if you should want to eat there. We never had a bad meal while there. We tried many restaurants, but returned to 3 a few times. These were:-

La Vigna Trattoria – Italian, friendly service, great food.Try rack of lamb, superb. Coral Bay strip at the far end on the right just before roundabout.

Andria’s – Good general menu. Food superb and well presented. Service good, but lacks friendly atmosphere!! We returned for the food. Third of the way along Coral Bay strip on the right opposite the hippopotamus.

Barone’s – Good mixed menu. Food good. Service hilarious, the waiters are a delight, lots of crack and banter. Also very near to villa, “staggering distance”. We returned 3 times nice food and a fun atmosphere. 150mts from O’ Solomans.

Car Hire:- Cy-Breeze. What can I say? Spot on. Gorgeous guy to meet us at the airport, a great start to any holiday!! Paperwork ready. No extra charge for 3 drivers. GPS offered. Someone to collect car on return to airport.

All in all, loved every moment. Many thanks to you all at Sundance for your professional service, help and advice. We will be in touch again soon I’m sure.

Four happy, relaxed people.

Sharon, John, Donna and Mike.

Irene

Holiday was great. We love the area around Polis/Latchi.

Villa Timily is a really nice villa in a good location (short easy walk to beach or town) which we would recommend to friends. If and when we decide to come back to Cyprus I am sure we would consider booking Villa Timily again and using Sundance Villas.

Kind Regards

Keith Pattenden

Hi Irene,

“Fantastic! The villa was wonderfully secluded and well appointed; exactly what we wanted. The ‘Irene’ factor and commitment to a ‘human’ and personal service is unique and beyond value. We will be back to Cyprus and it will be with Sundance.”

We have arrived home from our two weeks in Villa Eleni and I’d like to let you know how we got on. Firstly, I must comment on how impressed I am with the Sundance service. I have seen other testimonials to the depth of your personal service and I have found those comments to be, if anything, understated. <<…>>

Possibly the most impressive thing about Sundance is your attention to all of the little, helpful, details and advice which you offer to clients to add that extra bit of enjoyment to their holiday; I haven’t found anyone else who does that. I wanted to get back before making my mind up and now I can say how impressed I am with the experience of booking our holiday through you.

Actually, I suspect that the difference is not, really, a ‘Sundance’ thing, it’s an ‘Irene Hare’ thing. You might like to know that Georgios the Rep made a comment about you which I thought was very telling – he said “Irene is very, very good. She takes trouble to find out the little extra facts and details which just add that extra bit of enjoyment to the holidays of her customers. I have lived here all of my life and Irene has found things out here which even I have never heard of before!”. I think that Georgios had it spot on.

The bottom line is that we liked this villa very much as it has everything which we seek; seclusion, no overlooking neighbours, great views, well appointed and a big pool.

One of the things which we found enchanting and unexpected was that, at least twice each day, swallows would swoop down over the swimming pool to drink ‘on the wing’. They did this even if we were in the pool at the time. We saw huge owls, a very impressive hawk and lots of smaller birds, all from our own private viewing platform of a patio. It was great!

Mylo’s Taverna in Yialia (or Gialia) remains our favourite. Travelling NE up the E704 coast road, pass the sign for Argaka and, a few kilometres further on, there is a turning to your right with lots of signboards; one is for the village of Yialia and one is for ‘Mylo’s’. Follow the frequent ‘Mylo’s
